And how lovely she is, no?
First a blocking shot or two:
(Ugh, I apologize for the blurry. My blocking room has terrible light.)
The finished product:
Final dimensions were about 31 by 60 inches.
Pattern: Gail/Nightsongs by MaweLucky (Jane Araujo). I would classify it as intermediate--an easy pattern once you get the hang of it, but tricky to figure out at first.
Yarn: One skein Handmaiden Fine Yarn Mini Maiden (50/50 wool silk), a gift from Nyx (<3 .="" absolutely="" addicted="" an="" be="" before--it="" br="" colorway.="" d="" erhaps="" glacier="" handmaiden="" i="" in="" knit="" may="" never="" now="" s="" unknown="" with="" wonderful.=""><3 3="">3>3>

That is fucking gorgeous! You should seriously go into business with those.
*blush* Thank you! I don't think I could knit fast enough to make any money at it, though.
You knit a hell of a lot faster than I do! Here in China they have this interesting "knitting shops" where you go in, choose the pattern for the garment that you want, choose the yarn that you want, and then the people at the shop knit it for you. I don't think I've ever seen a shop like that in the US . . .
